While you can’t prevent a natural disaster, you can be prepared. Experts say you should be ready to be on your own for 3 days after a major earthquake, and possibly up to two weeks.  You can use a pillow case to store shoes, glasses, a flashlight and important documents by your bed, where you can grab it and go.     Start your Emergency Kit today with this handy checklist, courtesy of the American Red Cross.
